Good Morning Stampers. Yesterday, I mentioned I learned how to make a soccer ball with the Hexagon Hive Framelit from Lynn Starzl. As soon as I saw her little soccer card, I knew I HAD TO HAVE the Hexagon Hive Framelit.
My daughter had played soccer last fall and between myself and the school photographer, I ended up with several nice digital photos. Now I need to get them printed.
My daughter is also participating in Spring Indoor Soccer. I may be making lots of soccer ball scrapbook pages and cards for coaches.
I cut the Hexagon Hive Framelit from Basic Black card stock and then glued it to a piece of Whisper White. I the then placed everything on my magnetic plate in my Big Shot. When using the Circle Framelits to make the balls, you can get at least two depending on the size of the balls you make. In this photo, I used the 3rd and 4th circles from the center of the set.
The base of the scrapbook page is a piece of 8″x8″ Soft Sky card stock. The grass is Wild Wasabi cut 1 1/2″x8″. I used the Fringe Scissors to make the grass. I cut a photo frame 4 1/4″x 6 1/4″. Finally, I used the Banner Punch to cut So Saffron banners to trim the photo. The year was stamped using ABC-123 Alphabet & Number clear stamp set with Tempting Turquoise ink.
I’m off to the store to pick up my photos.
