Hi Stampers, welcome to my Creative & Chaotic craft room! Today’s project features the Bokeh Technique. Bokeh is a photography term. It means to have a blurred, out of focus image. I tend to think of it as photos of lights that are out of focus and they are fuzzy colored dots.
I have been wanting to do this technique FOREVER! But you know how it is, there is never enough time to stamp everything you want to. Well, I decided if I really wanted to do this technique; probably people in my stamp club would want to do it as well. The ladies LOVED it. I am glad I decided to do this for a project.
It also “forced” me to do a video tutorial (my goal is try to have one every week). I wanted my friends who couldn’t come to be able to see what it the heck I was talking about. A cool thing about this card is that no two cards look exactly alike even when you make several at the same time.
You can see how to make this card here. Or watch it below.
Keep in mind this technique can be used with any color combination and and stamp set. It doesn’t have to be just for Christmas. Heck, you could even used the shaped framelits for a different shape other than circles. Is it a lot easier than you thought? Give it a try in your craft room.
